One of the major telecommunications operators in France was looking for a solution to comply with French national regulations aimed at preventing malicious phone calls.
To do this, the operator was looking for a STIR/SHAKEN solution to authenticate, sign, and authorize calls from its own subscribers.

The calls are now certified and signed with the operator certificate, and verified in order to provide the highest level of confidence for calling line identity service.
The Cirpack solution supports the latest evolutions of french STIR Shaken standards such as the verification bypass and the signing operator role, which is needed for transit calls certified but not signed at the origin operator.
